Incognito™ hidden braces are fixed braces that are attached to the lingual or back surfaces of your teeth, ensuring they are hidden from view. The braces are fully customised and are engineered to treat your orthodontic issues, as each bracket is individually made to exactly fit the shape of your teeth. They are designed to be comfortable and to perfectly conform to the shape of your teeth making them easy to wear. Each bracket is cast from gold and the surfaces are highly polished for your comfort. The use of gold makes this treatment ideal for anyone who has nickel allergies.

You can expect to feel some tenderness as you teeth begin to move position, and especially immediately after your braces have been fitted. This is perfectly normal and occurs in all types of orthodontic treatment. Any discomfort can normally be controlled with over-the-counter painkillers.
The precision design of Incognito™ Hidden Braces helps to ensure treatment is as quick as possible. Everyone's case is different, and the exact length of treatment can vary considerably although you may begin to notice a difference before you even have your first appointment after fitting.
The design of these braces helps to ensure they are not that difficult to keep clean, although you may find an electric toothbrush helps make the process easier. You should be able to use dental floss perfectly normally, but many patients find using interdental brushes or even a water flosser helps to maintain oral hygiene. You will want to avoid eating very sticky foods that could adhere to the brackets, or very hard foods that could dislodge the brackets or damage the wires. If a bracket becomes loose, then it is important to save it so it can be re-attached as these are custom made to fit your teeth and cannot be easily replaced.
